BOOKINGS
In order to set an interview with me, you will have to:
1- read all the information provide in my website. if you agree with my expetations from parents.
2- Fill out the wating list and interview form.
3- Call me so that we can set a day for interview at our most convenient time.
If you do not need care immediately, I will encourage you to sign up on my waiting list. If you are an expecting parent, I recommend calling early and often because I have openings in my waiting list from time to time. If a place becomes available, I will contact those names next on the waiting list until I find someone able to fill the next place offered.
INTERVIEW
This step is very important to me because it tells me a lot about you,your child and your working schedule. This is also the time where the parents tell me their needs and concerns. I prefer seeing both parents and the child during the interview if possible. We will discuss the child’s history, the type of care needed, and any specific diets. During this interview, we will also discuss the fee which will vary according to the type of care and the hours. If you need any special arrangements for your child(ren), please let me know and I will try to do my best to accommodate your needs. Also I will show the profile of my family (police background check, physical, etc.) and my dog (physical, shot update, a letter from the veterinarian that states the dog is not aggressive and that she is free of diseases). Most parents prefer to do the paperwork on the same day of the interview as I guide them though it. However I recommend that you do it another day. This gives time for you to think about if this is the child care setting that you would like for your child. and also I will be considering if you are the type of family that I will like to enroll in my program. REGISTRATION
The next step after the interview will be the registration. This is where the papers are filled, and you the parent have the choice to fill it here or take it home and bring it back when it is most convenient for you. You may take some papers home but the contract will not be given out until it is filled out. The contract must be completed in my home and then you will recieve a copy of the original. There is a charge of $55 for before and after school care registration and $65 for drop-in, part time and full time care registration. Paperwork will not be given out until the registration is paid. It must be paid in cash or money order; no personal checks are accepted and the fee is non-refundable. All paperwork must be returned before the first day of care. There will be a one or two week trial period for each new child enrolled in the program. During this trial period, either you the parent or I can terminate the contract without prior notice.
